Share your work

Hi writer,

Welcome to ONEGOODJUNE. We appreciate your interest in publishing your creative work on our platform. Please read our guidelines for sharing your work.

01

Accepted Works

We accept fiction, poetry, essays, creative nonfiction and events reporting pieces based on Christian or human experiences and the Christian creative space. Please note that we prioritize low-romance fiction and stories based on the experiences of African Christians and the creative industry.

02

Financial Rewards

Currently, we do not offer monetary payment for writers to publish their work on our blog site. In the future when we do, such terms will be reflected here. Send your work only if you are fine with not being paid.

03

Submission Rules

Ownership: Ensure you are the owner of any work you send to us. We do not accept pieces written by or with the assistance of AI tools (proofreading with Grammarly is an exception). We don't also accept works already published on other platforms or literary papers.

Quality: Ensure you submit works that have passed two revisions beyond the first draft. We have a very small team and won't take a second look at raw drafts or unpolished pieces.

Length: Submit works from 500 to 3,000 words. No series please, all submissions should be standalone work. Every piece should be submitted separately.

04

Formatting

  • Format: Submit all work as a Word document (.docx). PDFs will not be accepted.
  • Font: Crimson Text or Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5 (set with the line spacing tool, not extra line breaks)
  • Indentation: None, including first-line indents
  • Alignment: Left-aligned (not justified)

05
